Jana Richter

She was born in Magdeburg, Germany in 1978. She studied Cinematography at the Film Academy in Prague. Since 2003, she has been working in documentary filmmaking with Yana Drouz and David Safarian in Kassel, Germany. She is a member of the NUR Film Group.

She was born in Heidelberg, Germany in 1980. Since 2001, she has been based in Kassel, Germany where she is studying film with Prof. Yana Drouz and Prof. David Safarian. Together
with other filmmakers, she founded the NUR Film Group.

José R. Acea

As a founder of the theatre group "Espacio Abierto" in Habana, José R. Acea is also an actor and playwright for the group. He is a writer of Afrocuban and Caribbean poems and stories as well as writing screenplays for film and television. Currently, he is an actor, reciter, and storyteller and is a specialist in investigation of Afrocuban and Carribbean culture.

Mabel Duval

She is a teacher of classical, traditional, and modern Cuban dances and has graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte de Cuba (National Institute for Instructors of Art in Cuba). She is a choreographer and ballerina of contemporary, modern, and traditional dances and a theatre actress who is part of the theatre group "Espacio Abierto" in Habana.

Orelves Flores

He is a director and teacher of dramatic theatre and has graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Instructores de Arte de Cuba (National Institute for Instructors of Art in Cuba). He is a theatre actor and a dancer of modern and traditional Cuban dances. He is also part of the theatre group “Espacio Abierto“ in Habana.

Ángel Elizastegui

As a theatre actor, Ángel Elizastegui has more than 25 years of experience and is part of the theatre group "Espacio Abierto" in Habana.
He is also a musician specializing in Afrocuban instruments and is a vocal interpreter of Afrocuban and Caribbean songs.
